Lyrically driven genre-fluid indie folk-rock, Teal Rivers will leave you feeling calm and hopeful after being tossed around a bit. The name is from a drawing exercise where, with teal-colored pilot G2 in toe, I draw calming verticals squiggly lines down a page to get my head back in order. This EP evokes some of those same feelings of both the overwhelming scared sadness and the healing calmness that art and music provide to give some sense of balance.
